Free Life Insurance Options
Insurance on Your WCTFCU Loan
Free Life Insurance on a credit union loan, up to $30,000, per qualified primary WCTFCU Member. To qualify for free life insurance on a credit union loan, Member must be under the age of 70 at the time of death.
Member Life Insurance
Free Life Insurance up to $2,000 per member is offered on WCTFCU accounts. To qualify, Membership accounts must be opened prior to the age of 70.

National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF)
The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) provides Members of federally insured credit unions in the United States with $250,000 in coverage of deposit insurance to protect their single ownership accounts such as savings, checking, money markets accounts and share certificates.
The NCUSIF is administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). The Share Insurance Fund is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government.
This coverage is similar to that offered by the FDIC which insures banks.
