We’re Upgrading Your WCTFCU Credit Card
In our continuing effort to enhance product offerings to our Members, the Credit Union will be upgrading to a new credit card processor in October 2026.
The upgrade will allow us to bring our credit cardholders contactless payment capability, (including the use of mobile wallet), a smoother way to make payments within the WCTFCU Online Banking system, enhanced security for increased fraud protection and more robust digital card management capabilities.
We are excited about the upgrade and our team is here to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Why is the credit union upgrading to a new credit card system?
We’re upgrading our credit card platform to provide enhanced features including contactless payment capability, improved security, better digital services, and a more streamlined member experience.
Your current credit card fixed rate, credit line, payment due date and card benefit such as Cash Back or Scorecard Rewards will not be changing.
How will this benefit me?
The upgrade to a new credit card platform, is intended to provide enhanced account security, improved card management capabilities, better service and support, future technology enhancements, and a more seamless overall card experience.
When will the upgrade occur?
The credit card upgrade is planned for October 2026. We will provide additional information and important dates as they become available.
Will I receive a new credit card?
Yes, a new redesigned card with contactless payment capabilities will be mailed to you the first week of October along with activation instructions. All cardholders on the account including authorized users, will receive a new credit card.
Will my account number change?
Yes, your credit card account number will change as part of the system upgrade. Any recurring or pre-authorized charges you have on your current card will need to be updated on or after October 19, 2026 to the new card number. This includes payments for online merchants, such as streaming services, autopay bills, and monthly memberships.
Will my PIN change?
Yes, you will need to establish a new PIN when you activate your new credit card.
When should I expect my new card to arrive?
Your new card will arrive by no later than October 16, 2026.
How do I activate my NEW VISA card?
On October 19, 2026 you can activate your new card by calling 1-800-631-3197 from the primary phone number on your account and follow the prompts to get your card activated and ready for use.
When can I start using my new card?
On October 19, 2026 you can activate your new card and once activated you can begin using your new card starting on October 19, 2026. Please destroy your old credit card as it will no longer work effective October 19, 2026.
Can I continue using my current card?
Yes, you may continue using your current card through October 18, 2026. Do not destroy your existing credit card before October 19, 2026.
What if my credit card is lost or stolen and a new card needs to be ordered during the system upgrade process?
For new and replacement cards requested during the system upgrade, you may experience a slight delay in receiving your new card. We will do everything we can to ensure cards are still received within 7-10 business days.
Will any of the terms of my new card change?
No, none of the terms will change. Your current fixed rate, due date, minimum payment, and fees will all remain the same.
Will my statement date change?
No, your statement date and payment due date will remain the same.
Can I still make payments during the conversion?
Yes, payment options will remain available, although processing may be delayed during the weekend of the system upgrade.
Will the address to mail my payments change?
Yes, please update the payment mailing address on any bill payment system you might use to make your payment. The new payment address will be P.O. Box 37603, Philadelphia, PA 19101-0603.
Do I need to update automatic payments?
Yes. If you have payments set up through another financial institution or bill-pay service, you will need to update your account information on or after October 19, 2026.
Will I have access to my credit card history?
Once we have transitioned to the new WCTFCU Visa Credit Card, you will no longer have access to your current card's history. We recommend you save prior statements as needed before October 2026.
If I have a Platinum Rewards card will I continue to earn Scorecard Reward Points?
Yes, your existing Scorecard Points will automatically transfer to your new card and you will continue to earn rewards points as you do now and will be able to redeem points in the same manner you are accustomed to today.
If I have a Platinum Cash Back Card will I continue to receive cash back applied automatically on statements?
Yes, you will continue to earn cash back which will be automatically applied to your account on a quarterly basis.
Will my mobile wallet continue to work?
Cards loaded into digital wallets such as Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet will need to be re-added after you activate your new card on October 19, 2026.
How will I get online access to my credit card account?
You will have 24/7 access to your credit card account data through WCTFCU Online Banking and mobile app. Online access to your credit card account will no longer be through EZCardinfo.com.
Will card controls and alerts transfer to the new system?
No, unfortunately any account alerts that you previously had set up will not carry over to your new card and will need to be set up again.
How do I dispute a transaction after conversion?
As you do now, you would call the servicing number on the back of your new card and request the disputes area.
What happens if I have a fraud claim in progress?
All active fraud claims will be transferred to the new processor within one week of the upgrade and will be processed within a 30-business day time period.
Do I need to do anything right now?
No action is required at this time. Please keep an eye on your mailbox and when your new card arrives keep it in a safe place. Set a reminder and activate your new card on October 19, 2026.
How will I be kept informed?
We will communicate through email, text messages, website announcements, online banking messages, in-branch communications, and direct mail.
